Portfolio: Portfolio Tracker
The Portfolio View is a code-backed Google Sheets Spreadsheet that I created whilst at Frollo, for getting a single view (or source of truth) into your company portfolio of projects, and facilitating resource scheduling across all of them.
The need for this view came about during our work Christmas party when I was speaking to the CIO and he told me that one of his key challenges was understanding whether we had enough resource to do all of the projects we had in our company portfolio.
Further discussions helped me understand exactly what he was looking for, and helped me formulate a relatively generic and re-usable system - for use within an agile environment such as the one that we were working in.
